Supplement Reviews for 100% Whey Protein - Gold Standard:
User Review (4 of 5 stars): Currently using the chocolate version. The Mixing ability with "just a few twirls of your spoon" is a joke. You will have tons-o-clumps and whey stuck to the bottom of your glass. The scoop was MIA for about a week with the 10 lb bag, until i finally found it halfway buried in the bag.
I HIGHLY recommend using a blender/shaker/mixer. Tasty, but a tad watery tasting. I recommend using milk over water. Resealable, which is a plus. I fill my old 1000 gram container of Creatine Monohydrate with this and store the Bag portion (wrapped in plastic bags) in a dry area. (to avoid humidity clumping)
One scoop when you wake-up, one after a workout. I love the amino content.
User Review (5 of 5 stars): I have used this stuff for years it works great. It is just a bonus that it taste good too. If you workout and have a proper diet this product will help you build muscle. The user HBK35 is a fucking retard and does not have a clue what he is talking about. Its not a steroid retard. You cannot just take this and expect to put on muscle without actually working out and a good diet. If you could just take protein and get big everyone would do it. Hard work is what separates the good body builders and athletes from pussys like HBK35.
User Review (4 of 5 stars): The chocolate tastes OK... seems to have a hint of bitterness that wasn't there before--perhaps the added enzymes? Drinking it is a relatively painless chore, but not exactly a treat either.
Unless they reformulated it, the strawberry flavor will make a goat puke. And even with the added lactase, it still makes me fart like a chinese motorcycle.
Not quite on par, flavor or performance-wise with the syntrax products (isomatrix and NECTAR) or with San Infusion (my fave). But it more than makes up for it with value.
