Supplement Reviews for Syntha-6:
User Review (5 of 5 stars): We will never buy any another type of protein shake again!! This is the best tasting and non clumping shake ever!! You can't taste or smell the vitamins like you can in others. That is huge for us!! My wife does have to add a fiber packet to it though. We have tried all flavors but the Peanut Butter Chocolate(just bought it though). Vanilla is good if you add flavored yogurts to it. Our favorites are the cookies and cream and Strawberry. Hope they get some more flavors soon!! :) I am sold on this brand and this website!!!
User Review (4 of 5 stars): after many positive comments i have heard/read about BSN's new protein, syntha-6, i decided to break away from my usual, (muscle milk), and give it a try.
this review will be looking at sytha-6 as a bedtime protein, and will pretty much be a direct comparison to muscle milk.

i give this a 7/10. i wish it had more casein and less whey. it was much higher in carbs than MM, but WAY lower in fat.
PRICE
8/10
$25 bucks really isnt all that bad considering it has 180g more protein per container than MM. (660-480)
SMELL
10/10
its hard to describe how good this stuff smells...even better than the brownie mix like aroma of MM. just delicious IMO.
MIXABILITY
9/10
great! it mixes very smooth (with milk). whereas muscle milk has a grainy-like texture.
TASTE
7/10
now here is the big one...HOW DOES IT TASTE???? sorry to disappoint, but its nothing special. i got the chocolate, and by the way people were talking i was expecting a milkshake, but its not even close. to be honest, its kind of bland...its flavor is pretty weak. i would put it on the same level as ON gold standard. its not BAD, it tastes pretty good as an overall protein...but MM blows it out of the water. BIG TIME
CONCLUSION
8.2/10
not really all that bad. i might give this product another look during my next cutting cycle, but from now im gonna stick with MM. the excess carbs and whey to casein ratio is a problem for me seeing as how i only take it at bedtime. i really feel that it should not have created such a "buzz"
User Review (5 of 5 stars): i laid off the syntha6 for a good week and let my sleeping pattern get back to normal. I then started taking syntha again. This time no trouble sleeping. I'm gonna chalk up my insomnia to stress unrelated to syntha. It apparently was just a coincidence that it occurred right about the time i started taking syntha.
Now that i'm using syntha regularly, i'll post back after my first tub is done and let you know what i think.
